Before we talk about better ways of telling children what you want them to do, let's talk a bit about how not to talk to children, or actually anyone, be the person a child or an adult.

I call this method "whinging" but you could just as well call it nagging, complaining, scolding etc. Let me explain to you, tongue-in-cheek, how to do proper whinging 🙂
